Ba Trai Dao Beach, also known as Ba Trai Dao Island, is located within Quang Ninh province. However, this beach is situated near Cat Ba Island of Hai Phong, approximately 20km southeast of the tourist port of Bai Chay. You can take a ferry from Bai Chay tourist port to Ba Trai Dao, with the travel time estimated to be around 10 hours.

Due to its relatively isolated location from the famous tourist spots of Ha Long Bay, Ba Trai Dao Beach has not been extensively developed, retaining much of its natural charm.
